Legend of Conan is an upcoming movie according IMBD and Arnold S.and its a sequel of
Conan movies Conan the barbarian and Conan the destroyer.Well everyone wants to see
a new blockbuster with Arnold but fellas lets be honest.Its a very difficult project!!!!
Why?Well here is my opinion!
1.Arnolds age. He is 70 and this year he will be 71.He is not the action star that we love
anymore and this movie is not in production yet.Well when is he going to be Conan one
more time?Maybe when he will be 75 or 80 like Morgan Freeman?
2.The new wave of hollywood movies.Today we dont see anymore this kind of movies
in hollywood or maybe we gonna see only one film every 2 or 3 years .Today hollywood
prefers to shoot superhero movies,spy movies,modern war epics or movies with aliens
or serial killers.They think that people are crazy with these movies because they earn
1-2 billions from tickets,and dvds in a couple of years from all these movies.Today
they believe that refreshing the old thing with sequels is boring and not profitable so
they send most of the old movie sequels straight to the dvd market or they sell the
rights to b movie companies.
3.The cost.They cant shoot an ancient war epic today with 40 millions.They need
expensive digital effects,thousand of extras,actors,stuntmen and they also have to
pay the security,the local movie crew,and the local authorities who are getting
crazy because of hollywood millions.So lets say if the first Conan had a small
budget of 20 millions today they have to spend maybe 100 millions because its
gonna be ridiculous to shoot an Arnold movie epic with a b movie budget.
So my lovable friends maybe its too late to see Arnold back as Conan.Thats
is gonna be sad but we have to accept it.Imagine your dad or your grandpa
in his seventies climbing mountains,riding horses or carrying swords,shields
and fighting against a lot of people.Well Arnold if you are miracle we will
be able to see you as Conan again.
